Doing some work on a 13 b-re engine.

The ecu, have 4 yellow conectors. Need some type of wireing diagram, or need to find out what the different connectors on the ecu are ? Can some one help me with this ?

unless your putting in an automatic tranny don't bother using it just wait. Its a bitch to make the thing think its still hooked up to and auto. That and the stock ecu is very limited and also governed to 110kph.

Are you talking about the 13B-REW from the JC Cosmo. Or perhaps the 13B-RESI from the HB Cosmo.

All 13B engines right up to the current 13B-MSP are RE's if thats what your getting at....???

Have no clue.... Think it´s the 13b-rew from the cosmo.

The other one 13b-resi,,, thats the non turbo model, or what ?

Enyway, the engine is from an cosmo, it got twin turbo, guess it´s the 13b-rew cosmo version. . Got any info ? Any info is greatly apriciated..

What is it with the " cant use the re ecu on an manuall tranny"?

Why the hell not ? The ecu dont CARE if the tranny is eaven there, why the hell would it not work on a manuall tranny ? Yeah there are some connections between the tranny and ecu, but I think this is easyly fixed, what gear, and reduce tourqe, am I in nutral, 1gear, 2 gear, etc what speed etc this can be worked out.

Yaeh, I know get another ecu. Well, can someone GIVE it to me? 1200$ pluss the harness, well, do you know what? I try tro make the stock ecu work, save me 1200 ++, .Coz I kind of low on cash right now.

ok, so you have the 13B-REW engine. The way to get the factory ECU working on a manual conversion is to make it ignore the fault codes that are present when it cant see things like the auto trans computer & other soleniods unique to the Cosmo.

There is a company in NZ that knows how to modify the ECU to "re-boot" with power on so it ignores all the codes. The guys name is RAY CARTER & his company is called Gizmo or Gizmo electronics. I just did a Google but couldn't find him. Perhaps you will have better luck. Several years ago, I paid NZ$300 for him to modify one. Worked like a charm & unless you pressed the re-boot button the car just wouldn't run. Was a great "anti-theft" option too.

Found them. It was the "double-G" that caught me out.

Ask for RAY CARTER, remind him about doing them a few years back for DMRH
