Well I could bring it back but that depends on weather or not I return to the U.S. The engine is not in it yet. I am still sourcing a couple of parts. But as far as I can see everything will fit no problem. This includes a nice big Ford 9inch rear.

Is it really that difficult to find parts for rotaries in germany?? ****, I just answered my own question. Everybody over there is Vdub, Benz, or Bimmer crazy. What motor is going in it? The one from your FB?

Yup the one and only. I'm working on picking up a Euro NA in the xt couple of weeks. God I can't wait to get my hands on those 2 endplates. I found a good core 95 motor but I'm making a peripheral out of that one. Thats for the project continuation. Once I have the Ford 9in and the G-Force tranny I'll drop in the P-port with the Sakura Motorsports FC-10. It's really a lot of fun over here. My house is 1 street away from the nearest highway and it merges directly onto an unrestricted speed zone. So when test time comes around I just cruise it over there and open it all the way up. I already marked out the 400 meters with orange tape on the 50m markers.

Well Guys... update.

I have all the parts I need now. The piston engine finally gave up on me. The cylinder head warped and cracked. I never knew hydrostatic lock could be so violent!! It tore one of the motor mounts!! lol

Well tonight I will start yanking the engine, tranny and assorted piston supporting equipment.

Yes of course I will keep you guys posted with pictures.

BTW anyone on the board live around Wiesbaden Germany??

I might need a hand... lol.

And of couse drinks and food on me.

Hey is this the sarge that hangs with Ito?well if it is ,how you been?! anyways you aint the only project car that is known around here! I've sold my silverish blue second gen and bought a VW beetle, a 75 at that.I have everything I need for the conversion except the motor.I'll be driving around with the stock piston motor until I find all the parts I need to build my motorwith.Anyways, fiebre son,Eddy is going to help me with the project as well as doing my motor. It's going to be a 13b 4-port streetported and induction will temporarily be a holley 4-barrel but after a couple of months running I'll soon change to a dual throttle TWM induction kit .well sarge, hope tosee you this spring or summer!

Looks good. Got a side shot also? Want to see how much room length wise you have.

Thanks

Well the radiator mount (the 2 horns in the front) is about 11 inches long so it looks like an electric fan will be needed. I also have to test fit the oil cooler but I am sure it will fit perfect.

Today is sunday and you cant make noise. It is against the law here in Germany. So I will have to wait until tomorrow to cut the top of the transmission tunnel. The engine needs to level off a bit so the holley sits level.

I canīt drop the front of the engine anymore because it is sitting on the front crossmember. As far as an air filter goes I will have to go "rice" and use a cold air intake setup.
