I am getting ready to order my chassis and rollcage kit from Chris Alstons Chassis Works in California some time this week. By the end of next month I want to have the chassis completed and then I will move on to the P-Port Nitrous setup. I hope to be on the dyno by end of March for pre track tunning.

Anyone have experience on good lightweight flywheel/clutch setup available. If you do not want to post it public then just drop me a PM. I would really appreciate it.

Nice Kadett. I have a '72 Opel 1900 that is getting a 13B transplant. Here is a photo of my car (actualy my wifes car). Not to bad I think. Maybe we will run into each other in the forums and swap problems/tricks for the swaps for these little cars. Again, nice little Kadett. -Magooganut

Here is a before picture of my car, you will probably throw rocks at me for this but it is based on a VW bug chassis. (sorry) It will have a turbo 13B in it when I finish with it. It already has the Porche 6-speed trans-axle in it.

Here are some concept drawings that I did that show the way that I want to take this project.

If you want more info on this or my wifes project (the Opel 1900GT) please feel free to visit our website at

Good luck and glad to hear that the Kadet is up and running, and your teaching some of those kids over there some respect for "old Iron". Later and Happy Cruising. -Magoo
