Default 20B in a Fox Body Mustang (86 LX Hatchback)

I just acquired a rolling shell of an 86 Mustang LX Hatchback. I plan to make it a track toy and run it in SCCA Modified Class E.

I fully plan on making this a custom-fab intensive build, largely due to my motorsports background: I've been on FSAE teams, in both a crew and leadership capacity at Auburn and Univ Alabama- Huntsville. I studied mechanical engineering and have rebuilt several motors (oddly enough, never a Ford one, first hand - one was an F-series from an old Accord I had, then a J-series from my Acura TL, and most recently a 4 liter BMW V8 from my current daily, an E39 540i M-Sport. I've welded, done CAD/CAM and CNC work, and am quite accomplished with my wiring and soldering skill.

With all that said, the plan in short is: fully stripped, roll-caged, race suspension track car I can drive on the streets if I want to. But it's main purpose will be SCCA road racing in the Modified class in Grand Touring. I've been reading the rules of SCCA Modified to familiarize specific plans for the vehicle.

At the heart of my unorthodox plan is the powerplant: a turbo 20B. Now comes my questions: I have done EXTENSIVE searching (including here) but have not found ONE person that's ever done this swap. Hence why I'm posting in NoPistons (yes, I know it's not a Mazda body ).

Does anyone know someone who's done a rotary motor swap into a four-eyed fox? What is a good starting point for sourcing a 20B to be used almost exclusively for track time? Any and all information is appreciated!

I've got several people on board with this, one major playing being GS Performance, a drift shop based out of northern Alabama. They've been kind enough to promise support with my CNC needs (as I'm sure I'll need custom mounts).
