basically I just purchased a nissan 92 240sx and i am wondering how to swap a 13brew into it. please do not yell at me for thinking about trying it. I like the 13b because of the sound it generates as well as the fact that it is indeed a motor that likes to rev. I read some forums that state that the main problem with it is the transmission for it. If someone could give me a guide to doing the swap that would be great. Also any advice on tuning the motor would be great as well. Thanks

Use the RX7 Transmission, it will greatly simplify matching the engine to tranny. A custom driveshaft with RX7 front and Nissan back will need to be made.

The location of the shifter may be a problem. It should not be too hard to overcome.

A standalone ECU will make the electrical portion much simpler. Although it is possible to adapt a stock ECU. The hardest part is figuring out which wires need to be conected. If you use a stock ECU make sure you get a stock wiring harness from teh same year.

Turbo motors can be quite wide, make sure it will all fit before attempting the swap.

It should be quite straightforward--other than the hate from both the Mazda and Nissan guys.
