Those wont be a problem, unless you have some sick exhaustporting done.

well i have already ported the motor as show and it is running in my car.

i do believe i extended the aux port a bit to far up, the sleeves try to jump in and out when the car is idling.

i haven’t taken the motor over 3k rpm because i want to break it in and it only has 20 miles on it,

i have noticed a slight hesitation when revving the motor from 1k to 3k slowly in neutral.

it kinda sucks, i thought i did alot of research and i saw other people extend their aux ports up even higher than mine. i only went up .2" and that was mainly just rolling the edge.

who knows, it may perform better at higher rpms with higher air velocities, but i wont know for a while.

As of right now I don’t even have the backpressure vac line attached to the actuators for the aux port sleeves, so they wont even open anyways.

Reason why i didnt go big on the primaries and ported the aux's instead was because i still have to pass CA emissions.

Question: on the aux port actuators, can you adjust how far the sleeves rotate closed?

You are seeing problems because you ported WELL into the compression stroke. Even with the aux valves closed, your sending pressure(compression) down the side of the rotor. Its like not having a side seal for that brief period.

With the Aux valve open, who knows what the pressure wave in the manifold will coincide with what RPM. May not even be usable to you under your redline.

IIRC, a few in this forum made the same mistakes.

Could have all been avoided with a lil studying and "bench racing".

so what your saying is that the stock aux port is at the limit of the compression stroke?

and so some of the compression stroke is going to go passed the side seal, wont this cause extreme crank case pressure

hmm, i should stop asking questions, the motor is in and i cant do anything about it, im out of money and time
