I have to get a new front bumper and hood (wreck.. ) I've already decided to get the '99 spec front bumper and '99 rear spoiler. I thought about getting the scoot hood too (I know it's a little ricey.. but I kinda like it.) But I still wanted that sleeper look.. So, should I just forget the sleeper look and get the scoot hood? Or just forget the scoot hood and go with the sleeper look? Would my car even look like a sleeper with the '99 bumper w/ rear spoiler? I wouldn't mind putting back the original front bumper and hood.. but I know mazda doesn't make any new ones, do they? thanks alot.

The 99 spec with plateholder and scoot hood wont work well. I believe the plateholder would block air from going in the front vent. It also wouldnt look too nice.

I'm hoping the body shop can shave off the entire license plate holder and fill it in. Not sure yet..

I want to get the M2 smic (medium or large) with the M2 intake box. So.. the scoot hood is probably out. Has anyone used the M2 smic and intake with the scoot hood? Pics? thanks.

My personal opinion....the Scoot hood is a little to much.

I think the Mazdaspeed flows better with the car as mentioned above.

Odula makes a similar hood to the MS. Also very nice.

cheers

The scoot hood is way to busy for me to look at.

I almost wish I stuck with a stock hood instead of my mazdaspeed replica.

Nothing like the look of a stock rx7.

It's pretty hard to improve on.

DRagon pulled it off but not alot of guys get that look right.

I say follow the stock parts unless you have it planned.

Other wise you get a part here a part there and next thing you know your pimpin in Frankenstien.

I like the Scoot hood on the Scoot car hehe

As for getting a Mazda front bumper and rear

spoiler (dont forget to say hi) I would stick with

Mazda, it looks sooo much cleaner, and smooth

Like mentioned before the MS hood would be

cool. It has nice curves, nothing to extreme, just

smooth and looks good
