BDC responded to post of mine on the mailing list. He said he had no problems doing this on his last engine making more than 350 RWHP. I agree that the PREFERRRED way is to just get another housing. I'll persue selling some scrap and see where I get. It's just that every dollar I spend on the engine is taking away from a new turbo.

Dude, I was totally bullshittin' on the scrap thing. New housings, I was not, yeah they are 800 bones but at least you would have piece of mind in that department.
