If you know someone with a tig welder you van cut the NA manifold where it turns to the intake side again and weld the upper piece where the throttle valve is in there, then you have a nice and verry low manifold with absolute no hood clearance troubles

I have no hood clearance problems with my TII lower mated to a FD upper, on my 6 port block. No clearance problems with the stock turbo/manifold either. The port spacing isnt as off as you think. The runners on the manifold can be matched to the 6 port block with a little porting. Ill post pics of mine in a few days when its off the car.
