EEEEKKKKK 16 psi on stock s4 turbo?! Please dont say TMIC. If so I'm pretty sure ..that's why it blew. The stock turbo is only good for 10ish psi with stock TMIC (read top mount interheater). I wonder what power you were putting out right before it blew though.

30 days. I am counting down. I can't wait to hear/see some numbers!

I had 160K miles on the motor. So yeah it was time. When it spit a Apex Seal out through the Turbo it should have kept running on one rotor. So my guess is it was time.

The TMIC is my ONLY option. Remember this is a motor swap. I don't have huge amounts of clearance for a FMIC. I'm also running NOS.

Don't diss on the TMIC, Remember just a few years ago Turbo Charged cars didn't even have IC'ers.

The worst that would happen is Detonation. I only ran 2 passes at the drags....

Here is a video of a run I made when it blew. Zuki-r @ the Races

I wasn't running NOS (The tech inspection made me pull my bottle for a lack of a safety blow off vent.).

wow I can't wait for you to get it going again. Ever though about meth injection to get the intake temps down to a server temp?

I was being sarcastic. I know sarcasm doesn't come across well in writing. I honestly think it looks cool. It is a bold color but its going to be fast so that makes it ok

I'm curious the engine bay will look once everything is reinstalled...

When I drove it previously.... Stop lights where is a B*&th at least for the people behind me. The exhaust on this thing is really nasty. So I have thought about alternative fuels. But I probably wouldn't be able to afford to drive it then.

The car will be green, but it's not getting a FULL paint job, so the engine bay will remain BLACK.
