I usually just take some of the sealant (hondabond, RTV, grey 999 sealant) that I use for the oil pan, and smear some of it around the center portion of the bolts.

 

I use a small dab of Ultra Black on the centers of the bolts. Don't use too much or they'll be hard to put in when tyou're assembling the motor.



it's an old racer's trick -> supposed to help damped the vibrations caused by higher RPM's when the tension bolts break.
