Well, yesterday I got to see the RX-8 for the first time at the Atlanta auto show. The car looks far better in person than I expected - I really want one!

They have a HUGE (about 12' x 12') picture of a rotor sitting inside the housing as a background for the car. You could see some of the ports, and more interesting you could see that they chamfered the edges of the rotors as part of the porting. They only did it on the sides that would effect exhaust timing, though. I took a picture and will post it soon...

I went to the auto show here in Minnesota and I too was impressed by the Rx-8. Looked a lot better in person than on paper. The black looked really sharp on it. I wish they had a cutaway of the new 13b, really wanted to see that oh well.
