Just getting ready to street port my engine. I have a friend helping who has more experience than I do and I am trying to find out the effects of porting the intake runners and the throttle body. I am still on a stock turbo, but will be upgrading as soon as I am able. So this is an S5 Turbo, the wastegate is already ported and I am using a Pineapple Street Port template. What can I expect if we port the intake runners or throttle body? I don't want to lose too much down low, so I am trying to make sure of the effects before we do it.

bigger runners will lower velocity, which probably will hurt the low end.

honestly the couple strongest engines ive been involved with were stock runner, ivan just cuts the port opening bigger with the template and thats it. he doesnt touch the runner at all, stock intake, stock t-body...

cymfc3s's motor was like that, it did 390rwhp @12psi, with a 60-1 turbo
