"I never go in to the o-ring area... I hate blow-by, but I only have 1.5mm or corner seal ride on my primary and secondary ports.. "

"theoretically the oil control ring only seals on the very very edge, so all the sealing takes place on the inner knife edge, but still... "

Thanks for the response guys, my pictures will reveal some other flaws but I don't think the or-ings will show up - need a better camera for that one. Camera was returned to its owner this week and he's gonna burn me a disk with the pictures I took which include pictures of my $4800 worth of Pineapple book ends (two junk engines - actually installed three). Also have pictures of my car with a Rotary Performance built engine that runs correctly - all fluids stay where they should, strong compression, no smoke clouds, etc.

im questioning the porting results from the thread ive linked from the other forum..

of which i consider is poor...leads me to inquire about the craftmanship...

which if questionable...leads to concerns on other aspects of work quality..

grabbed the pic ..

I think I port about 50 times better than that... That looks like a 15 min a port / runner work to me....

I've been seeing and hearing of a lot of bad jobs by Pineapple lately.

Not to say that they haven't put out some great work in the past and there are many happy customers out there.
