How much oil consumption is normal in the first few hundred miles after a rebuild? I have gone about 600 miles and the car has used about a quart and a half of oil. I changed all the seals and springs except the oil seal springs. The rotors, housings, and bearings are all used.

 

oil levels should stay pretty stable unless you have omp problems or maybe your oil cooler wasn't filled all the way before you measured?

 

it depends, when they are breaking in it will use more oil. it should start to drop to about a quart every 2-3k miles
