Here is a pic of the port opening and closing compared to a stock port. This method works better to explain exhaust port opening and closing rather then a rotor degree position.

The upper black line was the limit I intended to go. After talking to some Japanese tuners I decided to go higher. This port equals there spec 1 port, they have a spec 2 and 3 that are bigger. If I remember right there spec 2 was 74mm down and 103mm up. The spec 3 was 75mm down and 110mm up.

Just a better view of how I measure how much to port the exhaust.
