those are just stock s4 intakes

That's the exact same thing as overheating a motor. If that motor exhibits coolant-drinking symptoms from the get-go, then you'll know why Iceblue. The baking process done on ours a few years ago was 450*F for 30 minutes. Zap!

I think you missed something. I did not and do not powder coat them I painted them. They were only subdued to atmosphere temperatures.
A long personal friend has a powder coater I have not used it yet but he said he just puts little parts in the oven at 250F.
