you have any pics of your manifolds you made from these? do they come pre-beveled since they are considered pipe? kinda looks like it in the pics.

 

Yes, they are pre-beveled and basically ready to weld. You may wanna clean them up a little by removing the ink stamping on them prior to welding. Other than that, you can give them a wipe down and go to welding.



I'll take a few photos of the manifold I am completing this week and post them up for you. It is for an Evo that is running low 9s, trying to get into the 8s. Mixed with this manifold and his new large turbo, he may just do it.

 

what turbo do you have? I have a TV series garret that has a t6 flange that I was wanting to use.

 

yeah, its a TV7512. is that was yours is?



its basically the same as a non Ball bearing GT42 with a slightly smaller exhaust housing. they go on large diesel truck engines. i stopped by a diesel shop and found this same exact turbo on a semi (18 wheeler) engine.

Mine is a TV6101 I think.



Mine was free but it needs a rebuild, got a place lined up an hour north of me to do it for 350. The only thing I am really worried about is being able to spool it and have any kind of a useable power band.



I was going to make my own manifold, but Im not going to do it out of stainless. I am a cheap skate.
