Large Extended Port
#1
I'm kind of stuck between a larger extended port of a half bridge for my hkst51r.
I will either have to remove the rubber insert from the corner seal or use solid ones. I understand solids tend to crack and I suspect that removing the rubber inserts from the stock corner seals would cause blow by especially running up to 25psi at the track. What would you suggets the best thing to do is ?
How significant is the blow by from removing the rubber inserts ? would I lose out on significant power because of the blow by ?

You will not have blow by from running the stock corners without the rubber pieces. If you really want to run solid corner seals, I would run the hurley soilid corner seals with stock springs(I have seen there little dual springs come out flat in a 1/2 bridge motor that ran for less than 1000miles and was boosted to 30psi).

Thanks for that Igy, in that case i'll run stock corner seals without the rubber.
cheers
