About as top secrect as tool steel I presume... I would like to a see a close up pic, but they look suspiciously alot like RA seals....
I have a theory there is one place in North America cranking out these seals, and about a dozen shops selling them under their own name....They all seem to have the same lack of machining in specific areas..
I guess no one has ever heard of spark testing... I guess I should go buy a set of these...

Am I the only one who read the thread title and expected to read about furry aquatic mammals with big sharp teeth ripping flesh?

I have another set of warped seals to pull out and I was thinking about doing that to them, first set had to be sent back for warrantyso I couldnt do any destructive testing... It'll just be just for curiosity and kicks moreor less as I dont plan on ever running any aftermarket seal ever again, twice bitten....
If I could afford it I would buy ever seal on the market and find out their composition. But there is more to it than that, construction has a large part of it too. I am totally open to new seal designs, but I think there is a lot of bullshit involved with some of the stuff i have seen on the market.
And since some "racer" uses it, that doesn't mean ****. The only reason he might be running them because he gets them for FREE.....

seals you cant break tend to break your rotor housings
that's for sure.... i'd rather replace the seals instead of the rotor housings
if they can't break though how would they mess up the housing?
