Flywheel Torque
#1
What is the best way to torque the nut on the flywheel?
I don't have a torque wrench with the capacity of 300 ft pounds.
I have the Mazdatrix 3 foot bar, and flywheel stop. Can I just use that?
Assuming I can get the pilot bearing out.

You have a 3 foot wrench? Easy, find someone that is close to 100lbs and hang them on the end of it. Torque = Force x Radius.
As for the pilot bearing...... hard out, gentle in. That bearing is a PITA.

So I'm like 210.... So what stand on one foot? LOL
So I need to borrow a 100 lbs kid. Hmmm
Going to pressure test the motor tonight. I made a front block with a Tire Scheder valve in it and a air gauge, but had a heck of a time plugging the holes in the side of the housing (for the Turbo Water).
Again more Mazda only tools... For Sale/Rent
Maybe NoPistons should take a collection so people could borrow them??

i think its like a foot and a half?
Well I did my best at putting as much weight on my 3 foot wrench as I could without flipping the motor over on it. I put RED lock tight on the nut as well. Gonna run to PineappleRacing Friday to get a new pilot bearing. So I am hoping I can get the motor put in this weekend. HAPPY HAPPY JOY JOY.
Still got more work to do. New Radiator (which isn't here yet) Drain the 2+ year old gas... And a bunch of little things.
