Fitting side seals?

Never used the hurley seals before, first time. I didn't want to try the apex seals.

if you want a tip, Use Mazda side seals and Atkins Cryo Apex and Corner. They came to me very highly recomended.

on the pre 86 engines there are 2 part numbers.



1011-23-151A which is the long seal from the dual side seal engines, its like 1/2" too long



then theres 8871-23-151 which is the 79-85 rx7 seal, its much much closer in length, but its only sold thru mazda competition.



i've also heard you can get pre cut side seals for the 86+ engines, but i've never seen part numbers

Chris, I have the DIY DVD's and they use asand/grind stoen as well but they apply 2stroke oil on it. It seems to go a lot smotther that way.
