we always have had the $ to get the right tools and stuff, but it does amaze me how resourceful you and people your age are. seems like you could build and fully balance a rotary with $5 worth of materials

Like J9 said, its S4 rotors. You can tell by the cast surface in the combustion area. And its an early 13b crank.
