difference between 48 DHLA & 40 DHLA

??? I cant seem to find a 48 DHLA dellorto but I see many 40 DHLA so I want to know if the 40DHLA fits into a 12A engine? If not then i will keep looking for a 48 DHLA until I find one. If it does what is the difference performance wise? Thanx

have you thaught about running a webber or a makuni carb?they are more accessable and relativly cheaper.side draft sure is sweet!my buddy has a makuni and intake side draft for $500 canadian if your interested? my e-mail is 84rex@nopistons....together we have a lot of parts collected.its good to have xtras.
