After measuring, and compensating for the angle of the RE runner. The RE is only 20% larger than the TII when combining the pri and sec ports on both to get a total area.
The taper in the RE runners is a big contributor to the actual size and is pretty much what C.Ludwig is saying. And the REW must be real close to the TII.

the cosmo intake runners are larger diameter than the t2's, at least they are at the gasket ends of the manifold.
i dont quite get it, the cosmo is the low end heavy car automatic engine, and its got smaller primary port openings, and bigger runners
