I wanted to share my build. I mostly lurk on this site and get inspiration.

I have a 73 Porsche 914 with a Cosmo 13BT engine. I removed the turbos and swapped in a GT35R. it's set up with an air/water intercooler. Haltech EFI with wideband gives the fuel. HKS Wastegate, BOV and boost controller. I built a 4" exhaust with an Aero turbine muffler. I started last November (2010) and just got it running this month. I'm still tuning and tweaking but it shure is a blast. I have a 16 page build thread on another site if you want to read up on it. http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?showtopic=113156

I started the engine swap because the clutch on my V8 transplant went out. The repair snowballed and turnied into a Rotary. Thanks for all the great reading, Mike

Always liked the 914's, seems like a good fit and probably a lot of fun to drive.

This is about the coolest engine swap i have ever seen in a porsche 914 with a 13b cosmo engine! good job their buddy it was well worth the effort! Good luck in the tuning of your haltech system. I hope you really get it to run to where you like it! conservative and dependable on the road.... Good job well done!

Thanks for the encouragement. I have been getting tuning help from Claudio via skype. It runs pretty good now with 550cc/2000cc combo. I plan to rework the rails and go with 1000cc/2000cc and heve some real fun. Right now it pulls strong to 25psi. This car is much peppier than my old V8.
