i have a freshly rebuilt motor, with good condition housings with no chrome flaking with atkins 2 mm seals. we did a compression check and its at about 55 from and rear. should i be worried that the compression is this low or is this normal untill the car runs some. its very hard to start but it could also be the microtech untuned.

How many miles on the rebuild? Do you know proper break-in procedures?

Usually the compression slowly builds as it's being broken in depending on the seals you got..
