Red face

-i think this should be pinned only for all the people wondering-

#1 question that alot of people ask "how high can i rev my engine?"

i am not of much help with this topic but a lot of you out there are.. and a lot of us in here would really like the know how and specs for getting more rpm's.

questions that i think should be the most important of all (yours may vary).

#1 what is my stock engine block safe to rev to?? this means all

12a's 13b's(rew,re ect.) and 20b's.

#2 what will i have to do to achieve somewhat of a higher redline?

some wear around 8500-9500.

#3 what will need to be modified to achieve a max redline?

higher than 9500....

i would like to keep this clear of rev stories...

example- well i have rev'd my 87 tii to 9k one day and nothing happened.

so the ones with the brains and experience please shed some light!!!

it will be very appreciated i promise!

on stock engines you can rev till 8 then a limiter comes in,,,, i think. to rev higher, you will need upgraded stationary gears and possibly upgrade your lubrication system
