Hi, I just wanted to know where the buzzer thing is that sounds off whenever I hit 6800 RPM. I would like to turn it into a RPM switch, also if I put in a Haltech or piggyback computer, will the buzzer still go off? And is there anyway to retard the buzzer sound to like 6000RPM? TIA.

ok, if u rev ur RX& to 6800 RPM, near redline, a buzzer will go off alerting you that you are reaching redline, what I want to know is where is that buzzer, disconnect it, wire in something else. so I can turn something on besides the buzzer,

It's a Piezo Buzzer on the backside of the Tachometer (White in color).

You could probably remove it with a pair of wire cutters (Destroying it) or a soldering iron (saving it). It does require you to pull the gauges out.

that buzzer is also a low oil level warning and at high RPMs the motor fills up with oil and the cpu thinks that the motor has low oil. its telling u to shift.

I just pulled mine out last weekend, I guess I should have taken pics, and done a write up on it.

You have to pull out the gauges, then pull the circut board off the back of the gauges. You will see the buzzer Big white box (1" x 1" x 3/4")
