Someone please correct me if I am wrong, but this is what I know; The switch is supposed to connect to the leading, negative side of the coil. Where is this wire, and what color is it? This is for an 87 N/A. Thanks for the help.

I belive there is a yellow wire towards the driver side rear corner of the engine bay that goes to the tach (or at least its there on a T2, not sure on a NA) If anything, you can pull the dust covers off of the coil and the terminals will be exposed. They are marked - and +, so its kinda hard to screw up there.

Thank you. My last question is, which coil does it connect to, the trailing coil #1 or #2, or the leading coil #1 or #2? Thanks for the help.
