Thanks! The REPU has some rust I'm having to deal with, but is way cool. The vert is going to be a project, it has been picked over a bit.

REPU got the original 12a in it? I love REPU's, but it is hard to find them, rusted or not.

Nope, it has a carb'd 13B in it. It came with all the original manuals and receipts. Should be a fun ride.

If you find out- post it here- I am needing a new (and cloth would rock) top for my s4 'vert.

I think AABestco sells them in sunfast- but they never seem to have them on special, and I am so damn cheap!!!

This is a website for the people that make the tops and do install's

Robbins top

Both the pdf catalog and the dropdown menu's only show recommended hours for an install for the 2nd gen rx-7's, not a website to order from exactly.

My advice is to go through your local upholstery/top shop and have them buy the top through one of Robbins distributors (can't buy through them directly to my knowledge) and have them install the top for you. It makes the job easier because the same tech does the in and out of the top and the warranty will be useable that way. To ballpark a price the factory replacement was about $390 parts only no labor, and the cloth was about $795 top only, no labor.

And yeah Robbins top are noice..

a shop near my brothers place will do my top for $500 installed, but thats not for a robbins top.. i bet they would ask a ton more for that..
