Can 3 piece apex seals be used with large ports?

I just thought I had heard this somewhere and I was wondering if it was true. Both my primary and secondary are pretty large

Thanks

Yes they can. The only thing about porting that will challenge a 3pc seal is whether or not the short radius on the intake port is ported very aggressively or if a bridgeport is cut into the iron. If the bridgeport is large enough, the top end of the apex seal can fall in.
