Auto X Porting?
Hi all.
I'm after a bit of Advice/Experiance, i'm building a motor thats going to go in a cars thats going to get a few seasons of Autox.
So the Set up i was thinking with the porting is keep the secondarys close to stock shape with maybe a bit earlier opening time and do all the porting in the runners so i'm happy with that but i usaly match the opening/Closing times of the Secondarys on the Primarys but the thing is if i did that i would end up with quite large Primarys and wouldn't that defeat the object of keeping it all fairly small/stock?
Or would you say keep the Primarys as they are and just do some work on the runners?
Or am i going completly in the wrong direction and i should just do a mild street port on them both?
Thing is if it was still on Twins i would just clean up the runners and that would give me the best low end i could hope for but its got a BW S362 on it so ?? I just don't want to turn it into a peaky Race engine.....
