like 700$ in the motor, not including the intake and exhaust **** which i'll fab myself. the 700 includes like electronics. im gonna be pulling it apart, porting it and rebuilding it myself so im gonna need to buy the port stencils and such. i dunno, thats just a round about figure. im gonna be strippin the **** outta the car and aiming for like 8.5 second runs or something. maybe nitrous later on. i dunno if im bein a lil outta league but, y'all set me strait.

If you fabricate a decent free flowing intake and port the engine, then 230 is eminently possible at the flywheel. Racing beat had 225 out of a ported 6-port, with the sleeves still in place using a weber wrap around manifold, which IMHO is not the best way to do it.
Bad news is that you will need to rev to to 8000. But if you have time and some mechanical and electrical skills you should be able to manage it.

i definently meant the 1/8th. theres no way in hell i ever expect any of my rotary cars to run under 11 in the 1/4. i know its possible, i just dont see me doing it. ****- after thinkin about it, i barely see this car runnin under 9. BTW- where are all the manifolds for 4bbl carbs and stuff? i havent seen one yet! what would i have to do to the car to run the carb? when i say this, i mean things like ignition and sensors that run off the ECU. well, hell, n/m- the carb gets rid of most of the sensors doesnt it? damn, im gettin myself tied in a knot. keep the info comin!
