You wont do it for $700. Buy a TII, it will meet your goals much easier, and have more torque.

Wow, I've never seen those JayTech products before. Has anyone on this board used them before? How much do they go for; and which parts from that page were used?

you can get 230 at wheels with a nice streetport setup, but that will be much more then 700.

here is an example of prolyl one of th echeapest ways of gettign power, and someone has mentioned it here. and even that requires a standalone, pretty much anything you do to the car will eventually mean you have to get a standalone sooner or later. so might as well do it sooner and save yoruself some headaches.

nitrous? Other than that, I'd say open intake exhaust, pulley kit, elec fan, matchporting intake and stand alone with some good tuning will just about get you there.



I'm a firm believer in the stand alone, you can pull so much more out of our motors than the stock ecu alows. Even with stock porting.

I cant stress enough that if youre looking for a lot of hp on a budget, n/a is NOT the way for you. Ive been perpetually broke for 4 years trying to make a fast n/a. Trying to prove people wrong who said it couldnt be done. I learned a lot, and among those things was you cant make good power out of a n/a without spending a lot of money. If 170 rwhp is enough for you, get a SP, full intake and exhaust, and a S-AFC. If you want 200 rwhp, prepare to spend a few grand, and have a car with barely tolerable street manners, at best.



But if you insist on learning the hard way, be my guest. Just dont say I didnt warn you. And check out the engine I have for sale. It was built when I was still pursuing the powerful n/a route. If its over your budget, then you really dont know what youre trying to get into.



You say its your drag car. Want the best performance for the least cash? Get a full exhaust and nitrous.

where's the cheapest carb manifold availible from? the only one i've seen so far is the 900 RB. i just want the manifold. i've got plenty of 4bbl's around. im not trying to make this car street able, at all. its a car with no title nor keys. if anyones lookin for interior parts- let me know- they're all bout to be gone.

That should steer you to the right direction, and whoever tells you that it doesn;t work, ask the if they have any fisrt hand experience



BTW - You need to BUMP your budget!
