What really gets me pissed off is when posers in their freshly waxed cars giggle and laugh at Drifters who have messed up panels and so on or your wheels are dirty from brake dust and stuff. They turn to thier stupid girl and say heheh man he fucked up and thinking to himself that he is the **** cuz his car is all nice looking. Well to all posers and chicken **** ******** keep on posin and driving neon light hondas. Every time I see a poser I look them in the eye and shake thier hand then wink at his girl cuz she knows she is datin a POSER.....
Preach on.

I have Vol 3 and 4 already. They should be for sale already as far as I know.

Sorry about the preaching up there before....I just get wrapped up in it sometimes to ya know.

I see people getting upset about magazine articles and afraid people are gonna make a movie about drifting then the cops are gonna crack down on it and all that. That is something we all have to deal with. I want to drive in competitions so people wanting to see competitions is a good thing for me. All the hype with American D1 makes me crazy because here I am in Japan and I normally run circuit 7-8 times a year and compete in mini drift contests and more and more larger competitions and I normall get cut by the second round of elimintations, then I watch those guys competing at Irwindale..... no offense to anyone, but I think, of the cars shown on Option video and such about 3 guys even have a chance of beating any of the japanese drivers. I have more than enough skills to at least compete in American D1, if that is the level, but I am not there so I can't do it. Here in Japan there is almost no hope of going to a professional level for me. I can be in magazines and be known on the streets....which we are... but I would never even make the qualification for G class of D1 and Keichi and Orido laugh at those guys. I would spend more money and more time on improving my car and my skills if there was a chance something would become of it but for now the reality of life and bills takes over. I am searching for a FC in the states that I can build to compete with in America and possibly will move back in a couple of years if there are opportunities to race on a more professinal level. So for me I don't mind if some guy paints his car and puts a big *** wing on the back with stock suspension and a S-afc glued to the dash. That is what makes him happy and he is content on that level of participation in motorsports then thats fine. If everyone had what it takes to be a racer then it would be the same as driving to work and that would suck. That is my take on the whole situation.

OK no more preachin for me........LOL

I don't understand why everyone gets upset when there is hype about drift.....I love it. I think it is cool when people try to be something they are not. There is an abundance of people in Japan as well who pose. Before I hated posers, now they are my amusement. I always invite them to autocross events, touge the circuit.....but they never show. This amplifies the fact that they are posers. Look out at car show time especially the TAS My god they come in droves!!!! the parking lot at the Messe is full of GTr's Ferrari....how do you spell that?? and other "race" cars that never get driven. Last year we were spending the night tying my friends S-13 together from where he made a mistake drifting. The only problem I have with the Hype is that I cannot be a part of it, knowing I have the skills but someday I will be there competing and all those posers will know who is real and who is not.

Let Drift get big let everyone want to be a drifter......most will fail some will succeed but there will always be that 10% that just POSES by thier car never accomplishing a thing with it.
Amen brotha

ranzo has it and so few people have that view, its not a problem because none of those neon lit giant gt wing body kit chrome rim honda kids actually try and drift so they can say all the **** they want but when your *** is swung out and youre staring at a embankment you know who is really a drifter and who is really just trying to get ***** with his shiney car

man you should see it here ... its the new hip thing! if you dont have an ae86, you're just not cool! seems like the ae86 and 240sx are this generations civics. I have a neighbor thats been into drifting for quite some time. He has a 240 thats all dented to hell and back. To me, thats a respectable bad *** car and driver. The next kid that tells me hes a drifter because hes rolling a 240 is gonna catch a fist to the nose :-p
