We've had both: AGX's about a year and a half ago and the Koni Sports (Yellows) now.

I think the AGX's are a pretty decent unit and wouldn't be afraid to buy them again; a pretty good bang for the buck. However, I think the Konis to be a little better with regards to performance at the limit, rebuildability (sp?), adjustability and reputation.

Either way, you're getting a good shock. You might consider your application and future goals.

Yeah, but the AGX's are red. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

Its not like either of them will match anything else on my car anyways...

So the AGX's aren't adjustable like the yellows?

mazdaspeed7 09-02-2003 01:24 PM

Both the konis and KYB AGX's are adjustable.

The AGS are adjustable and on the rears the adjuster is on the side of the shock so you can adjust without removing pieces....

But I dont have pieces in the back, thanks to my rear strut bar. I think Im going with the Konis.

konis are a good choice

it really depends on the spring rate, but either shock is a good choice for normal fc spring rates
