Did the steering mod took me about 15 mins of work and 6$ at ace worth of aluminum tubing that I used for a spacer, have enough extra to do like 20 cars.

I can make a u turn in the street now w/o touching the curbs and I only used 1/4" spacer due to the fact that there is not enough room to ajust the toe in to where I want it with any larger spacer.

seems I could have more steering angle if the tire wasn't hitting the sway bar. also to settle some other disputes there is over 2 inches till the tice hits the lower control arm. I could only get them to hit w/o the tie rod attached to the spindle.

Can you go into more detail on exactly what you did? Pics would be especially helpful.

I did this:

curtasy of Ranzo

an now that i understand the pricipal of the device I will be making a tredded insert that threads into the steering rack and the tie ros will thread into it to maximise the steering of the FC. you WILL need a lesser offset wheel to clear the sway bar.

I don't see why not, most steering racks are nearly the same.
