Car Prep
#1
So theyre offering free passes on this new course by me and was wondering what I should at the minimum prep for a mostly trouble free day.
I was thinking change brake pads, tranny, motor, brake oil.
Thanks

It'd be good to change all the major fluids, just to take a look at the old stuff. I'd put good synthetic in it, I use Amsoil in the trans and diff, Mobil1 in the engine. If you feel like spending the money, Superblue brake fluid, otherwise a good DOT3 brake fluid will work unless you overuse the brakes.
I would also, while you have the car in the air, check all the suspension bolts and nuts, as well as the engine/drivetrain fastners. You don't want one of those coming loose on track, and by putting a wrench on them you're more likely to find any cracks or problems in any of those components.
