Wild A** Setup Just a Thought
I work at a CNC shop where I do programming and setup, been really bored lately and had a thought...run...run NOW!!
Back Story:
I've got a '73 RX-2 with the original twin dizzy 12a in it. I've picked up some lightened '83 rotors and am thinking about running it half-bridged. Back in the day, I had the Rotary Engineering 32/36 DCD carb setup on a street ported 13B and LOVED it...
My thought:
How about a manifold for, say, 3 Rochester/other old-school carb's, one feeding both the street ported primaries, one each on the bridgeported secondaries, run progressive so that the secondaries don't open until the primaries are say 3/4? Does this sound absolutely insane? Cool? I'm just in the "brain-farting" stage so I'm not committed to any one setup yet...
