Have Ex rally car ,rearwheel 323 mazda. Full chrome molly cage, empty inside, bar radiator on rear seat and two racing seats. Fully cheesed all up weight with 13b PP motor 950KG. Running M3 wheels as all hubs are BMW so is steering rack. Ford diff 4.4 ratio LSD in rear. Motor almost where pedals used to be. Exhaust twin 55 mmm to centre then 75 mm to single rear silencer. Running 52 mm IDA . Chases is full rally bilstein slotted towers ,STIFF Ap racing calipers with M5 front system at rear.

Just started the car last weekend running fourspeed gen1 box. Please any geusses on performance ? Also what is sensible usable rpm for fully race 13b pp?

This is my first rotary so I am desparate for insight as expertise locally is thinly spread and I would appreciate some corroborating opinions?

Thanks

No pics yet, will post soon. 950KG is 950 kilogram ( multiply by 2.2 to convert to pounds) all up weight ( excluding driver )

Will darken windows and run to Sunday street races and drags soon

Man, that is one hella cool setup! We've thought of building a rally car using my buddy's '84 626 and a 13BT, but never got around to it. With the 13B PP motor...your looking at around 300HP depending on what your exhaust setup is, and your other mods, etc...you will be able to walk all over most stangs, camaros, and most other NA rx7s, lol...

Hey Herman, Wooffinn here. Man ex rally driver here!! I'd say that performance will be some where between yeebloodyhah and the point of no return for your underwear!! About 10 years ago[showing my age] a friend and I had an RX-2 group n rally car with a 13b na bridgeport. insanely quick with no brakes!! We only really had two main probs, the rear control arms snapped on a VERY regualr basis and wheel base and track are too close to being the same measurement.Basically I spent most of the time correcting the oversteer but it was great fun never the less!!

I got a ride for a season in the navigator's seat in one of those group A 4wd 323's but as you would expect, it stuck like S#$# to a blanket. Certianly sound's like fun, need a navigator???
