Default RPM limits of the 13b

I'm brainstorming about my new project so i'm bouncing ideas around. I'm just kinda curious what the RPM limits of the stock rotary would be, (not the 7k redline) and what would be needed to raise it? I've got a 86 NA atm and plan to put a T2 in it eventually. May seem like a vague question but I'm wondering what i'd have to do to make a high revving engine. I just always liked the idea of high revving engines like the 18k engines in bikes or 15k engines in F1. I dont see why the rotary couldnt go over 10k seeing as it has no real restrictions aside from keeping the fuel trims in check to prevent detonation, maybe need some bigger injectors and lighter rotors to keep up. Even the renesis tach has close to 10k

Lighter rotors, bigger injectors are right. The entire engine will have to be modded to support the high rev, so larger ports are needed.

ECU has to be changed, fuel pump upgraded, throttle body entirely modded, cooling system, oil system... pretty much we're talking about everything here.

would there even be much power made between 8k-11k that makes it worthwhile?

I seem to recall Racing Beat having some good info on their website somewhere. I believe that seal clearancing is very important. Also, there are modifications to the stationary gears that will be required above about 10,000 rpm.

Some interesting reading here: Rotary Tech Tips: Engine Seals

Edit: Okay, not just seal clearancing, but rotor clearancing as well: http://www.racingbeat.com/RX7-1986-1...ml?id=eKZrBo62
