Can you use just a universal kit on an RX-7 or do you need a special kit? Who makes a good kit? What all would i need besides a kit? And how well would nitrous go on a carborated motor? Most of my knowledge comes from hondas and other piston motors. Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

They have specific kits for the RX-7. I list one for the 2nd Gen and the 3rd Gen in the NOS book.

I wouldn't suggest it with more than a 50 shot of Nitrous! If your going to get a dry nitrous setup than don't even bother.

There is a nice write up with pics on fc3s.org also. It is a wet setup tapping into the fuel rail. Pretty nice.

Gotham Racing also puts them on. You can contact them I'm sure for info.

A Nitrous system is pretty standard. You want a wet setup and basically any wet setup will work.

My bro ran a Mustang kit in his 87GXL.

The kits you see for specific cars are usually for dry kits.

DO NOT BUY A DRY KIT.
