Need info on oil system mod

Well, it's definitely an improvement, but not a complete fix.
Due to time constraints, I went with installing a 1/2" fitting into an old cap that I had with a hose running over to a quart oil bottle (vented) by the winshield washer bottle.
This got me down to puking about .25 quarts per session - down from almost 1.5 qts. I was hoping for none at all, but this is certainly much more tolerable.
A buddy of mine has finished brazing a 1/2" tube into another filler neck. I'll be running that at VIR this coming weekend. It was annoying to have to disconnec the hose to remove the oil cap to add oil with the current setup.
