Wehn I bouth my car I got is from an RX-7 tuner. It has a cooling system modification on it. Was was wondering what it is called. It is located right next to the air pump. I think it has something to do with the purge tank so it doesn't burp. That all I got out of the middle man I bought it from. Don't get me wrong I didn't buy a lemon the middle man was jst someone that traded a more beet up RX-7 for the one I bough. He wanted the beat up one so he could re paint it and use it strickly for drag. The car I have was his daily driver. :yum:

Sorry about all my spelling but I am more mechanical than book smart. I am sure alot os us enthusiists are like that.

maybe an aluminum ast was put in place?

I don't know because I am new to this car I just got it 2 months ago and I am trying to learn as mauch as I can about this motor. and all the mechanical mumbo jumbo on this car
