this car is cool!!! its definetly not the best but it's got potential,

it's a completely original and has only one owner besides me.

It is a 82 model and is perfect condition.

I'am 18 and on a first years apprentance wages so i dont have that much money on hand

i want to make it alot faster, just wondering if someone could give me some tips on what to

do first?

I'am getting a 2 and a half inch mandrelbent to a 5inch high flow cat with extracters.

so other than that what should i do? any good advice woud be helpful

well, exhaust upgrades should always be first. then there's an air intake, pulleys, ... but if you want to make a first gen "a lot faster," then you're going to be looking at engine porting. depending on your personal preferences (sacrificing driveability for power) there are a number of options, but not as many as with a turbo car. so i would say follow the 3 mod rule and save up for a port job. remember that you will need an ecu upgrade if you get it ported, so plan on spending that kind of money. bridgeported fbs are badass.

it will be cheaper to stay carbed. but a carb good enough to handle a bridge port well will cost a pretty penny. less than making it fuel injected, though.

I don't think he said anything about drag racing it...

Open up the exhaust first, www.racingbeat.com sells a header for your car. NAs get real loud when you free up the exhaust (unless you keep a cat), so I would recomend the Racing beat mufflers.

but thats what i would mod on the car
