1. i got my gslse(680/720) injectors laying around. would it be worth it to use them for primaries in the FD?





2. is there a color designation per size of injectors, and where would this guide be found?

GSL-SE are top feed injectors, fd are side feed injectors = won't fit

top feed square plug low impedance (83-87.5)



gslse 680cc = orange

12a turbo 720cc?? = green

fc t2 550cc = purple

fc na 460cc = redish orange, may look brown



top feed square plug high impedance (87.5-88)



fc t2 550cc = red

fc na 460 = ??



top feed round plug high impedance (89-96)



fc t2, cosmo secondary, 550cc = red, its kinda purpley

fc na 460cc = orangey red



side feed round plug high impedance (92-current)



cosmo primary 550cc = red

fd primary 550cc = purple, faded to a whiteish color

fd secondary 850cc = orange



rx8 ?? = yellow?

 

thanks mike. that should clear a lot of questions we were having with the 20 or so injectors we got laying around....



also, the injectors are denso, are these color codes the same for all denso? do non denso injectors follow a similar color chart?

maybe. all the rx7 ones are denso, but so is everything else from japan. theres probably other injectors with the same colors
