Okay I picked up some 550cc Turbo Injectors, but the electrical plugs appear to be different. Is this true? Does someone make something to make this work. I'd hate to cut my harness, besides I don't have the turbo injector ends.

Thanks,

Dac

I should also note. This is a N/A 13B running a Haltech.

Turbo and NA injectors are the same for the corresponding year. Are the connectors round? If so then they're for 89-91 cars.

Yep, I need the 87-88 SQUARE PLUG STYLE.

Anyway have some they want to trade?

Must be TURBO (550cc).

86 and early 87 injector plugs are different from late 87 and 88 plugs. The 86 and early 87 injectors are low impedance. So if your injectors have an impedance of about 2.1-2.3 ohms then you have low impedance injectors.

u won't need them, waste of time, even if ur car is ported. Too much gas makes less power, u know n/as like a leaner mixture, which makes more power and ignites faster.

My NOS system is a WET system so that's okay. But the 460cc injectors max out at 200 HP. I guess a DYNO would tell whether I really need them, but since I have a Haltech and the map I am running is from another N/A owner that has 550cc. I wanted to have the same setup.

The larger injectors should allow me to run lower pulsewidths to get the same amount of fuel. 90cc isn't that big of a deal, but it's it needed it would be.

I'm in the process of putting in a full cage rollbar (more work then I thought!) but after that I hope to get my car on a Dyno for some final tunning.
