Racing Beat Turbo-Back Single-Tip Dual Exhaust.

I recently had a chance to compare my old PE with my friend's greddy EVO. Both cars have a downpipe and stock cat. The only major difference between them is that my car has a ported motor and my friend's does not. There was no noticeable difference in sound between the two mufflers.

I think there are mixed opinions about the PE because other factors, such as the lack of a main cat have a big impact on its sound. Two years ago my friend installed my PE on his car in place of his SP. My friend's car also had a non-resionated midpipe. The PE was about 1/2 as loud as the SP, but sounded more raspy/ricey.

Ideally, I'd like a catback that sounds like the SP with the volume level and restriction of the PE.

I like my Dynamax setup. Real deep, and sounds mean as hell at high RPM's.

i dont know how well a recording of exhaust would sound when compared to first person, but people should post clips of their cars at idle., wot, inside, outside, just to get a feel of the sound of different setups. ive got a 3in hks dp, 3in unrestricted, midpipe, and hks hiper exhaust. ill try to get some clips on here.....

**** all the hype. THE ABSOLUTE BEST that I've heard was my old setup. Borla midpipe with a JIC bullet type 1 exhaust. That thing sounded SO DAMN GOOD....
