Disarried

Last night i was driving my 80 home from an outting in Allentown when it just stopped running at 60+ mph.....threw it in third gear, let out clutch...no go. Had it towed to my dad's shop, went down this morning....started, ut sounds like my Nova did when it had a rod knock, and it won't idel....anyideas?

hate to tell you this, sounds like mine did when wal-mart didn't put oil in it.ripped my rear bearring bad, the rotor was slappin against my housing. hate to say that, it might not be whats wrong. i would check my compression in all 6 chambers, see what might be wrong. then check the oil pan for metal. that will tell you about the bearing. i had alot of copper in my pan,filter,cooler,everywhere. good luck
